Hi! I'm Garry Yuan. I'm interested in electrical engineering, machine learning, AI, and world models.
I like learning across fields and following interesting ideas wherever they lead. Right now, a lot of that energy goes into machine learning, systems, engineering, and trying to understand how ideas become real things.
on a higher level, I basically like to
- learn about everything, like iterating through an infinitely large graph
- talk with LLMs and think about how systems are shaped from the inside out
- consciousness
- math around us
- existence
- spend time learning, reflecting, and finding more interesting things out there
right now
I’m especially captivated by machine learning. One long-term direction I keep thinking about is whether there are architectures and ideas that can genuinely change what scaling looks like, not just improve things incrementally.
